Xian Lim's secret to good health

MANILA, Philippines - Xian Lim knows all too well the importance of living a healthy and balanced lifestyle. In between juggling his schedule as an actor, musician, and model, Xian says "in our line of work, it's important to stay healthy and fit so we can endure the long hours and still perform well."

He adds that he tries to keep active by working out and playing basketball every now and then, keeping in mind to eat in moderation as well. Xian recently joined the Avon family as the company's endorser for its Avon Life Boost brand and the actor says he is really excited as "it champions the kind of lifestyle that I want to archive."

But it's not just late night tapings or social events that take a toll on Xian's body. He says that travel also plays a role on the wear and tear he experiences.

Avon Life Boost gives Xian a healthy choice to energize his body with ActiVit, vitamins and minerals that contain CoQ10, which provide antioxidant protection and nutrients that help the body generate energy. Avon Life Boost consists of Defense-C, Natur-E, and Calci-Plus. The chewable orange-flavored Defense-C tablets contains acerola cherry fruit extracts and sodium ascorbate, which helps reduce acidity. Made with an Avon-exclusive formulation, Natur-E, meanwhile, containst natural Vitamin E and lycopene, well-known antioxidants that help fight free radicals, promote cell and tissue renewal, and delay symptoms of aging. And then there's Calci-Plus, which is combined with Vitamin D, Magnesium, Zinc, and Manganese that allows the body to increase absorption of calium, helping reduce the risk of bone-related conditions such as osteoporosis.

"You don't have to think that much if you want to live a balanced lifestyle," Xian says. "Take the right amount of nutrients and you'll prevent yourself from getting sick, or even being lazy, or being down sometimes. If people want to live a healthy lifestyle, I would advice them to try out the Avon Life Boost products, research more about the intake and find out what their bodies need. The healthier choice is what's going to help our body and then we'll realize we won't need to worry too much about anything else."
