Pop Talk celebrates 2nd year in Batanes

MANILA, Philippines - GMA News TV’s pop-culture program Pop Talk celebrates its second anniversary with a two-part special adventure in the picturesque islands of Batanes.

Beginning tonight at 10 on GMA News TV, join host Tonipet Gaba (photo) as Pop Talk takes a rare trip to the breathtaking islands of Batanes, a paradise surrounded by vast rolling hills, jaw-dropping cliff and rock formations and awesome seascape.

For the first of the two-part second anniversary special, Pop Talk will take a closer look at the islands. Only three of the 10 islands of Batanes are being inhabited namely Batan, Sabtang and Itbayat islands. Each island has its own beauty and charm. Find out which among the three islands will gain more pop points as Pop Talk reviews them based on the following criteria: Wow factor, fun factor and convenience.

Joining Tonipet are guest reviewers, comedienne Maey Bautista, food and travel blog expert Lois Yasay and tourist-cum-backpacker Mildren Penales.
