MANILA, Philippines - Parañaque City celebrated the National Bible Week with Kuh Ledesma as special guest.
The audience composed of school children, the religious groups, and the city folks enjoyed her almost one-hour talk on the importance of reading the Bible and renewing faith in The Lord.
Kuh was down-to-earth as she shared to the audience her life and her Christian transformation. She captivated the crowd like it was an SRO concert at the Araneta.
Kuh also distributed Bible together with councilor Benjo Bernabe.
Bernabe said, “Sound spiritual and moral values are particularly crucial for the character development and spiritual enlightenment of the youth in this age of materialism and commercialization.â€
It was an inspiring day for the people of Parañaque. Kuh also mentioned that she’d gladly come back for future gospel sharing.
The event was organized by the city Media Bureau headed by Eduard Blanco.
Parañaque City Bible Week is now a yearly event held every last Sunday of January by virtue of City Ordinance No. 12-05, Series of 2011.
