What Lani ate at Little Asia
MANILA, Philippines - Lani Misalucha flew all the way from Las Vegas just to perform in Venice Piazza McKinley Hill. All the customers of Little Asia were able to watch the concert for free. She sang Christmas songs and her classic hits. Little Asia was the sponsor of her concert. During the show that lasted for one hour and a half, Lani entertained the crowd not just with songs but with her jokes.
Before the show, Lani took a hearty meal prepared by L.A. owner-manager Charlemagne Lim (rightmost, with brother Charlson Lim), top to bottom:
1. Crab shrimp and mushroom dip —buttery garlic bread with crab, shrimp and mushroom cream sauce
2. Fish wrapped in bacon — steamed fish fillet wrapped in bacon coated with teriyaki glaze
3. Lengua in mushroom white sauce — Braised ox tongue with cream sauce and sautéed mushrooms
4. Cantonese prawns — Sautéed prawns covered with melted cheese and cream sauce
Lani went back to Las Vegas first week of January.
