January jams at The Grills

MANILA, Philippines - This 2013, start your new year with a bang as The Grills in South Station, Alabang, Muntinlupa City holds its Rock Fest tonight and on Jan. 11, at 9 p.m. Get ready to rock as two talented groups grace the stage for two nights of fun and music.

Performing tonight is Kenyo (above), a rock crossover act composed of former Orange and Lemons frontman Mcoy Fundales (vocals), Ace del Mundo (guitars), JM del Mundo (bass), Cleng Ocampo (synth guitars) and Ariz Villalon. The group boasts of a unique blend of vintage rock, British pop, and 1970s Manila sound and are behind such hits as Sana and Ayoko Na Sa Yo.

Meanwhile, it’s Wolfgang’s (below) turn on the microphone on Jan. 11. The pioneering Filipino heavy metal, grunge, and hard rock band was formed in 1992 and is currently composed of Basti Artadi (vocals), Manuel Legarda (guitars), Mon Legaspi (bass) and Francis Aquino (drums). The band is behind such hits as Darkness Fell and Halik Ni Hudas. The multi-award-winning group also holds the distinction of being the only Filipino band to release albums in both Japan and the United States after the platinum sales here in the country.

The Grills is located at the Lower Ground Floor, Yellow 2 Building, South Station, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. South Station is a premier development of Filinvest City.
