MANILA, Philippines - The trend of reviving old love teams in new shows and films reached digital platforms anew on Monday as the topic "I-Dawn Zulueta" trended on Twitter.
The trending topic on the micro-blogging site refers to actor Richard Gomez's lifting of Zulueta, grabbing her by the waist, in a television talk show Sunday Night hosted by comedian Vice Ganda.
Social media users turned the actress' name into a verb, asking their crushes and celebrity idols to also lift them to the air.

Gomez lifted Zulueta in at least two of their most popular romance films in the 90s Saan Ka Man Naroroon (1993) and Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit (1991) both directed by Carlos Siguion-Reyna.
The pair reunited in a television drama series Walang Hanggan aired by ABS-CBN last year.
