(VIDEO) Behind the Magic: Marvel's 'The Avengers'

MANILA, Philippines - Marvel's "The Avengers" was undoubtedly one of the biggest films of 2012. While the sequel to that film is still a couple of years away, Marvel has comic geeks covered with stand alone films of some of the characters including sequels to Captain America, Thor, and the third Iron Man film, which is set for a summer 2013 release.

Philstar.com stumbled upon this awesome featurette posted by Industrial Light and Magic on its official YouTube channel showing how that one continuous scene highlighting each Avenger in an epic fight against an onslaught of Chitauri was put together.

That one scene alone was worth the price of admission. It was so good that it was the only film in 2012 that I paid to see the second time. Hopefully scenes like that would be a staple in each of the upcoming Marvel films under its planned "second phase."
