The stars’ ‘bucket lists’ Second of two parts

Here is the continuation of our forum on what some celebrities wish to change about Christmas and what they have on their bucket list for 2013. Read on. Merry Christmas!

Joross Gamboa — I don’t have to change anything about Christmas. What I have to change is how people view Christmas, for me they should think that “giving” is not just during Christmas, but it should have to be an every day thing. What should we do for Christmas is to stop working, just spend time with our loved ones and celebrate the birth of our Lord.

For my bucket list, first is to graduate from college (AB mass communication). Second, start taking up script writing and directing. Third is to do self-improvement, physically start going back to the gym to get my six-pack back hahaha, start doing voice lessons to improve my singing, start going back to workshops for acting in my free time. Fourth, buy a new house and start doing new businesses other than producing shows and handling karossarts decals, for extra income. Last, start to have a new foundation that helps young boys like the “mga batang hamog” and be a good “kuya” to all of them. Teach them to be more involved in sports, education and give them jobs that will put them on the right path. Hopefully, with the help of my sponsors.

LJ Reyes — If I would change anything about Christmas, I would like it to be a day with perfect snowfall in all the parts of the world! That way cuddles and hot chocolate would be the best pair to great time spent with family and friends while we all remind ourselves of the greatest blessing we received. On my bucket list are a house, a business, travel to distant places, more projects and more projects! All these for the security of my family’s future and of course, the travel is for quality time. 

GB Sampedro — I hope this Christmas would be better... no more Christmas blues... My wish list: Good health for me and my loved ones; to be able to do projects that would inspire others; to be inspired and motivated in everything I do; to maintain balance in my life; to remain happy and contented with what I have.

JM de Guzman — Sana mabalik yung caroling, yung banda, mga parol at paliwanagin naman at pasiglahin. Next year my wishes are: 1. My own band. 2. To bring my family abroad. 3. To be in my best shape to serve. 4. Palasyo para sa pamilya. 5. Sagutin ni Jessy (Mendiola).

Benj Bolivar — I would want that no one will be left out and experience the feeling of loneliness during Christmas, especially those who don’t have families. I will change Christmas for it to be celebrated specially by those who are in need and lonely. I have listed five important things do next year: 1. Make it in show business. It’s been a dream of mine every since, and I want to make my loved ones proud of me. 2. Be complete with my family. My two sisters are in Australia and it’s been two years since our family got together. 3. Graduate from college. I can’t wait for this to happen and focus on my career. 4. Buy my own car. I have been saving up for this for quite a while now. Hehehe. 5. I want my sisters to have a baby already — never had a baby brother or sister, I want to experience to teach and play with one.

Lance Raymundo — The spirit of Christmas seems to have a special magic touch that makes people a little happier, more giving, more understanding and more peace loving. We allow ourselves to forget about our quarrels, disputes, problems, etc., for a day. So, instead of merely being a one day a year celebration, I’d hope for it to be a year-round celebration instead.

Next year, on my bucket list are: 1. To finally release my Wolfsound CD unaltered by recording companies.  2013 should mark the return of Pinoy creativity and originality. Record companies must take the risk in releasing original works of Pinoy artists instead of playing safe by releasing the tried and tested formula that sacrifices originality and heart. 2. To make more movies that reach out to other countries showcasing the worldclass talents of the Filipino. I believe we have what it takes to be recognized not only Asia wide, but worldwide. If our Chinese and Korean brothers/sisters can do it, we surely can do it as well. 3. To put up a new business to make me more financially stable. Being financially stable will not only help me reach my goals more easily... It will also allow me to help others reach their goals in life. 4. To make more friends. I have a lot of cheerfulness, good vibes and positivity, which I’d like to share with more people. 5. To love more, to humbly ask forgiveness and to learn to sincerely forgive others. Doing this will make the new year a more beautiful one.

Hansen Nichols — If I could change anything about Christmas it would be that it shouldn’t cost you money to see your family members even if they’re far away. We should be able to be in the midst of family during the Yuletide season.

Here’s what I intend to do next year: 1. To learn how to speak Tagalog fluently. Dito nako sa Pinas. Importante ito not only for my career, it’s also a means of communication. 2. To finally release my much awaited solo album. This is one of the reasons why I moved here and I would like to see it become a reality! 3. To be on the big screen. I have done things from endorsing to acting and singing, but I have never been in a movie so I would like to do that. 4. To give more thanks to God. Sometimes I do forget that I get to do everything I want because of him. I want to feel more connected to him.

5. To make a comeback with my career for my fans who have been supporting me ever since I started. I want to make them proud of their decision. Also to show them a new me. Abangan.
