Daughter inherits her mother’s ‘sweetness’

MANILA, Philippines - For almost 40 years, Ju.D (left) was happy with her home-baking business, making delicious, high-quality fruitcakes that eventually became a favorite among businessmen, celebrities, socialites and politicians.

Ju.D’s fruitcakes made her a TV star in Taiwan and an author of two books, and won her three National Awards for Best Fruitcake Manufacturing & for Product Quality.

Her secret?

A high work ethic and a love for food that would only satisfied with the best and freshest ingredients, careful baking, packaging that would seal in the wonderful aroma of her fruitcakes, and a fearless sense of innovation.

It was Ju.D who invented the first fruitcake cookie and the Chewy Chewkies, and tapped the Starbucks trend to bake a delicious Blue Mountain coffee fruitcake in the Ju.D Blue and even a Golden Fruitcake with Honey.

Ju.D’s daughter Jamie has inherited her mother’s ‘sweetness’ with which she flavors her mom’s famous items and those that she herself has invented, including Cookie Petites and Premium Nougats.

Like mother, like daughter, indeed.
