Sexy Talk with Matteo Guidicelli and John James Uy

Until he agreed to throw caution to the wind and jump out of his pants, not many people really took note of John James Uy. And then came the offer to play the role of newcomer Yam Concepcion’s husband in Viva Films’ Rigodon, director Erik Matti’s nod to the Peque Gallaga classic Scorpio Nights, and everybody became curious about him.

“It’s worth it,” said John James of his decision to join the bold-wagon. He has became a tease not only on the big screen but even during media interviews. Asked about his sexual prowess, John James described himself as, to use a euphemism, “carnivorous.” And the favorite part of his body? He mentioned his “member.”

On the other hand, Matteo Guidicelli is taking his bow as an indie actor playing a dual role in Paglaya sa Tanikala, directed by Michael Angelo Dagnalan and associate-produced by STAR contributor Ferdy Lapuz, which is one of the five entries in the New Wave Section of the 2012 Metro Filmfest, screening from Dec. 18 to 22 at Glorietta Cinemas in Makati City.

In Paglaya sa Tanikala, commissioned by the Somascan priests to commemorate the 500th anniversary of 16th century Italian St. Jerome Emiliani’s liberation from the shackles through the intercession of Virgin Mary, Matteo plays Emiliani, a troublemaker-turned-soldier who fought against the Germans before he led a spiritual life; and a modern-day Somascan brother who helped kids in an orphanage.

“Very challenging,” said Matteo who studied acting in New York, chosen for the role, according to Ferdy, “because of his being half-Filipino and half-Italian.”

What is sexy to you?

“Sexy is…sports, attitude, confidence and performance. These are sexy to me!”

When do you feel sexy?

 â€œWhen I’m in my most comfortable state…me being a tri-athlete.”

What part of your body do you find sexiest?

“My lips…because that’s what women tell me.”

What part of a woman’s body do you find sexiest?

“The eyes and the legs because you can tell so much about a woman just by looking at their eyes.”

“It’s for me to know…hahaha! For now…hahaha!”

“The Twilight series.”

“Piano because while you’re on a date, a piano playing in the background creates a romantic scene.”

“Locked out of Heaven by Bruno Mars.”

“Precious Hearts Romance presents Paraiso…hahaha! Of course, because it stars Jessy Mendiola and me.”

“Salmon sashimi because it’s tender and it melts in your mouth.”

“All black Audi R8.”

“Channel Allure Sport for me. For women, I like the smell of light and sweet colognes.”

“Midnight. That’s when everything happens.”

Sexiest part of the house (or sexiest place)?

“My music room and my gym. Those are the places where I spend most of my free time.”

“Jaguar…because it’s fierce, it’s fast and it’s strong.”

“My Boardwalk billboard coming out soon. And, of course, the classy and sexy Belo billboards.”

“Those in Black Swan with Natalie Portman.”

 â€œAll the love scenes in Paraiso.”

“When I sent a former girlfriend a whole balikbayan box of nuts to surprise her. Her favorite stuff.  She loved it.”

”To travel with my woman around the world and our last stop will be in the Bahamas enjoying the beach and just having fun.”

Sexiest clothes (pajamas, briefs, etc.)?

“My tri-suit…it’s so tight. Everything is revealed. Hahaha!”

“The Vina Morales Concert – Showgirl. What a show!”

“Those of Eva Mendez, Natalie Portman and Kristen Stewart.”

“Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Eva Longoria.”

“Confidence and truth is sexy for me. Nothing turns me on more than someone who is real and not afraid to speak her mind, and even acts like a child sometimes and knows how to have fun.”

When do you feel sexy?

“I feel sexy when I paint or play video games in my underwear or sometimes even in the nude! Hahaha! Also, after my Muay Thai training and I’m all hot and sweaty.”

What part of your body do you find sexiest?

“Probably my backside. I have a very strong back and lower back according to some people.”

What part of a woman’s body do you find sexiest?

“I love a woman’s sexy curves, hips and love handles. The curvier, the sexier for me.”

When did you lose your innocence?

“When I was around 15. I did not know what I was doing… honestly! I guess I was still in shock.”

To a younger woman, older woman or a woman your age?

“Hmmmm, I do not discriminate; I keep an open mind. Whether young, old or same age, women are women and they have to be respected and treated like a queen.”

“Paulo Coelho’s Eleven Minutes, which is a deep and profound story about a prostitute from Brazil who discovers herself.”

Sexiest movie?

“Woody Allen’s Vicky Christina Barcelona because Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz get it on! Hahahaha! And because Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz portray artists that I want to be.”

“Piano. Someday, I will play a sonata for my special someone.”

“I Want You (She’s So Heavy) by the Beatles. Such a turn-on song. Play that on vinyl. Dim the lights and here we go!”

“Skins or Entourage. Sexy, sexy, sexy!!!”

“Anything sinful or fruits with whipped cream or chocolate syrup because you can pour that on someone’s body. Now, that’s real naughty!”

“Jeep Wrangler. It’s sporty and astig at the same time!”

“Paul Smith Sunshine, very masculine but very sweet and fresh scent.”

“When the sun comes up is the sexiest for me. Everything is just better at that time. It’s the beginning of a new day.”

“The library or office because knowledge is sexy and it’s kind of a bit ironic getting ‘hot’ in those rooms.”

“My rough sex scene on the table in Rigodon. Actually, it turned a lot of people on when they saw it.”

“Used handcuffs and tied her up. It’s sexy when you know she cannot escape and you can do anything to and with her.”

“Cut-off denim shorts and tank tops. Anything women wear is sexy as long as they feel comfortable in it and rock their outfit!”

“Coachella Music Festival ‘06. A few of the artists who played that year were Sigur Ros, Cat Power, Devendra Banhart, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Daft Punk and Bloc Party. Everyone was just sharing and feeling the love, enjoying the music in the desert and just being free. That right there is sexy.”

“A woman’s lips are a huge turn-on for me. They are so seductive. I can just stare at them all day until I want to kiss them.”

“Natalie Portman, she’s gorgeous and the best actress. She’s fearless…Penelope Cruz, the hottest Spanish woman for me. Ay, calor!...And Taiwanese top model Jessica Yang because she is the epitome of sexy, brains and beauty inside and out.”
