SMDC hosts Miss Earth event

MANILA, Philippines - Beauties filled the SMDC Grand Showroom when SM Development Corporation and SM Food Group hosted the Evening Gown competition of the 2012 Miss Earth Pageant recently.

Delegates from group three transformed the SMDC grand showroom into a grand promenade, where they walked in their stunning long gowns and captivated the audience as they shared their environmental advocacies. SMDC unit owners, who were part of the audience, also had the chance to interact with the candidates who entertained and socialized with the guests. Miss Guatemala Stefany Miranda, Miss Thailand Waratthaya Wongchayaporn and Miss Norway Nina Fjalestad took home the Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, respectively, for the evening gown.

Special awards were also given to candidates who garnered the most number of votes from the audience. Event revelers voted Miss Pakistan Zanib Naveed as Ms. Earth SMDC, while Miss  Germany Nel-Linda Zublewitz was chosen Ms. Greenbag Mobstress.
