Cabangon Chua keynote speaker at ROLP meet
MANILA, Philippines - Ambassador Antonio Cabangon Chua will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker in the forthcoming 59th Reserve Officers Legion of the Philippines (ROLP) National Convention on Dec. 1 at the Kowloon House Imperial Hall in Quezon City.
Cabangon Chua, a University of the East (UE) graduate in 1956, is an outstanding member of the diplomatic corps and the Legion. He is a reserve officer with the rank of colonel in the Armed Forces of the Philippines. The annual convention will be attended by ROTC graduates/officers who are active, inactive, retired and veterans of the AFP and PNP coming from the different provincial and city chapters throughout the country.
The event is also ROLP’s 74th foundation anniversary and since 1938, it has gone long in its more than half of a century of heroic deeds and dedicated and loyal service of its members to our Armed Forces and the Filipino nation.
Army Brig. Gen. Joseph Sevilla, a UE graduate in 1969, is the present national president and chairman of ROLP while the ROLP Quezon City, the host chapter of this year’s convention, is headed by Lt. Col. Baltazar Catbagan.
