MANILA, Philippines - Vic “Bossing†Sotto read and interpreted three love poems in election lawyer Romy Macalintal’s weekend radio show, The Law of the Heart is Love, over DWBR, 104.3FM, of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Quezon City, which they pre-taped last Monday (Nov. 20).
Romy said that “Bossing was embraced and held tight by his numerous fans from PIA and DWBR who watched him read these poems with awe and amazement as if they couldn’t believe Bossing was in front of them and could be reached at anytime.â€
“Not only that. Bossing also sang — live — one of his hit songs, Paniwalaan Mo, after reading the love poem, Please Believe Me, by James J. Metcalfe,†Romy said.
“And, as always, after Bossing’s episode, he was practically mobbed by his fans for autograph and the much-needed photo-ops with the popular TV host of Eat, Bulaga!, and other television shows.â€
As expected, the interview portion of the program was from hilarious to serious and vice versa when Romy asked Vic about how he prepares for various shows he is hosting.
“I had to be a little bit serious in Who Wants to be a Millionaire since it is monitored by an international franchise and has a format which is quite different from the other television shows I have and the roles I’ve played in the movies†Bossing said.
Romy narrated that Bossing gave great significance on the Barangay Bayanihan portion of Eat Bulaga’s Juan For All where competition among various barangays has paved the way for the improvement of the barangays participating in the show.
“Eat, Bulaga! producers, mainstays and staff believe that with more than 33 years in existence, it is now high time that we extend our helping hand to the poor people and make them happy,†Vic said.
The full interview with Bossing will be aired tomorrow, Nov. 24 at 8 p.m. with replay the following Sunday, Nov. 25. The other poem he read was I am So Sorry, also by Metcalfe, which was followed by the airing of his other hit song, Ipagpatawad Mo.
