Backroom artists’ schedule of shows

MANILA, Philippines - Ai-Ai delas Alas is busy shooting a movie with Kris Aquino and Vice Ganda titled Sistereka. The movie is a Star Cinema entry for the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Ai-Ai will grace the 52nd anniversary of Buenas Supermarket at Tagum City Hall, Tagum City, Davao on Nov. 17. She endorses Maggi Magic Sarap and Smart Telecom.

Aside from corporate shows, Bianca Gonzalez hosts ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda and Cinema One’s Cinema News. She is busy as editor-at-large of Mega Magazine and has a weekly column in The Philippine STAR. She is also active as UNICEF’s Philippine Ambassador for Child’s Rights. Bianca endorses Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner, Meg Clothing Apparel, Calayan Surgi Center, Globe Telecom, McDonalds, MAC Cosmetics and SM Accessories.

Mariel Rodriguez is regularly seen on TV5’s Wil Time Bigtime. She is currently shooting a movie with husband Robin Padilla titled Kuratong Baleleng. She endorses Meg Clothing Apparel, Calayan Surgi Center and Cherry Mobile.

Sitti is busy doing corporate, provincial and international shows on Nov. 3 at the Thunderbird, Poro, La Union; Nov. 9, Ayala Mall, Cagayan de Oro; and Dec. 7, Dubai. She has a special role on ABS-CBN’s top-rating afternoon series Angelito.

K Brosas has a European tour with Pooh on Nov. 16 at the Gasometer, Megaplexx, Vienna, Austria; Nov. 17, National Stadium, South Circular Road, Dublin, Ireland; and Nov. 24, SF Park Biograf Sturegatan, Stockholm, Sweden. She will have a show on Dec. 12 at the Casino Filipino Pavilion. She endorses Wings Detergent Soap.

Pooh is busy with Banana Split. He will have a European Tour with K Brosas in November. Watch out for Pooh as he entertains the crowd on Nov. 7 at the Casino Filipino Bacolod. He endorses Fresca Tuna.

Drew Arellano is the reliable travel companion with his show Weekend Getaway on GMA News TV 11. Drew is seen on the early-morning show Unang Hirit and the trivia show AHA on GMA 7. He is also one of the most sought-after hosts in corporate shows. Drew has been a triathlete since 2008 and he recently competed in the prestigious global triathlon meet, the Xterra World Championship in Maui, Hawaii. He endorses Smart Telecom and Milo Energy Drinks.

Husband and wife Ariel Rivera and Gelli de Belen are busy with their respective careers. Gelli hosts Face to Face and Game N’ Go on TV5. She endorses Alaska Milk. Ariel is regularly seen on ABS-CBN’s teleserye Ina, Kapatid, Anak.

Dawn Zulueta recently finished her top-rating teleserye Walang Hanggan. A movie and a new TV series for Dawn are now in the works. She endorses Marie France, Facial Care and Robinsons Department Store.

Gretchen Barretto is getting rave reviews for her performance as Ashi Behati in Princess and I. She endorses Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner and IVI Collagen and Drinks.

Arnold Reyes is part of ABS-CBN’s newest teleseryes A Beautiful Affair and Apoy Sa Dagat. He is currently shooting an indie film Bayang Magiliw, directed by Gil Portes. Dominic Ochoa is regularly seen in Princess and I.

Aiko Melendez is celebrating her 25th year in showbiz. She is busy taping her new teleserye Apoy Sa Dagat on ABS-CBN.
