Sexy Talk with Andi Eigenmann

That’s just what Andi needed when she staged her post-natal comeback. She doesn’t look like a mother of a year-old daughter (named Ellie), does she?

Lesson learned from that, ehem, “indiscretion?”

“Just to be careful next time,” said Andi who has yet to make peace with the actor Albie Casiño, father of the kid.

Wasn’t it only yesterday when Andi, daughter of Mark Gil and Jaclyn Jose, was winning hearts with her dual portrayal in the ABS-CBN soap Agua Bendita? After her life-changing experience, Andi has considerably matured, now playing an adult role as the other woman in Viva Films’ A Secret Affair, (directed by Nuel Crisostomo Naval from a story and screenplay by Mel Mendoza-del Rosario), another love-triangle romance-drama also starring Anne Curtis (as the wife) and Derek Ramsay (as the husband). The genre popularized by Lolita Rodriguez, Marlene Dauden and Eddie Rodriguez in the 1963 hit drama Sapagkat Kami’y Tao Lamang has hit a curious nerve among moviegoers (of all ages) and producers who are cashing in on it, making hay, so to speak, while the sun shines.

Andi was second choice for A Secret Affair, replacing KC Concepcion (who recoiled from doing passionate love scenes), but does it matter? Most often, second choices turn out to be the best choices after all.

Actually. Andi’s movie comeback was the recently-shown Regal thriller Pridyider (in one scene, she opens the door of the refrigerator and lets the ice-cold vapor turn her ecstatic). She’s also in the cast of the ABS-CBN soap Kahit Puso’y Masugatan with Jake Cuenca, Iza Calzado and Gabby Concepcion.

Because Andi looks very sexy (eat your heart out, Albie!), Funfare decided to have a little “sexy talk” with her, only the third actress (after Ai-Ai delas Alas and Marian Rivera) who “dared” do it. I should mention that Andi did it with her own free will, not under “duress,” and without asking for a go-signal from her (secret?) boyfriend, Jake Ejercito (son of former Pres. Joseph “Erap” Estrada). Mom Jaclyn herself confirmed it by telling movie reporters, “Matagal na sila,” during the recent A Secret Affair presscon.

What is sexy to you?

“To me, sexy is being comfortable in your own skin, being proud with the body God has blessed you with, even without having to show it all. It’s when you know how to carry yourself well.”

When do you feel sexy?

“I usually feel sexy with the help of the outfit that I wear, when I’m wearing something form-fitting (like the one in the Belo Sexy Solutions billboards), classy and comfortable at the same time.” 

What part of your body do you consider sexiest?

“I think it’s my hair, that’s why when it doesn’t come out nice on some days, I lose the confidence.” 

What part of a man’s body do you consider sexiest?

“Hmmm, the chest and bicep area.”

Sexiest book?

“I don’t really know of any sexy books, hahahaha! I like reading narrative-descriptive fictional books and graphic novels that have nothing to do with any kind of sexy at all, hahahaha!”

“Basic Instinct (1992), Swimming Pool (2003), Shakespeare in Love (1998), Before Sunset (2004), Y Tu Mama Tambien (2001), The Beach (2000), Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005). Ang dami! Kasi I really love watching movies, eh.”

“Saxophone.”

“Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On, Kings of Leon’s Sex is on Fire and Fiona Apple’s Criminal.”

“Chocolate!”

“I really don’t know anything about cars.”

“Chanel Allure for guys and Chanel No. 5 for girls.”

“Sunset.”

“The bed? Hahahaha!”

“The cat family!”

“Here in Manila? All of Lovi Poe’s!!!”

“There’s one in The Beach.”  

Sexiest scene you have ever done?

“All the love scenes in A Secret Affair, because besides it being the only love scene I’ve done in my life so far, the concept itself is actually sexy.”

Sexiest fantasy?

“I just really want to go on an adventure with someone on an island. That’s sexy enough for me.” 

Sexiest clothes (bikinis, negligee, etc.)?

“Tank tops and jeans.”

Sexiest face (of a man)?

“Those of Adam Levine, James Franco and Alex Pettyfer.”

Name three men that you find sexiest.

“James Franco. His smile takes my breath away. And since I love film, I like actors who can make me fall for them no matter what kind of character they portray. He just has this certain appeal to me. Same goes with Johnny Depp but everybody knows that already. Also, Aaron Johnson and Francisco Lachowski (a Brazilian model).”
