An evening with Joe Bonamassa

MANILA, Philippines - Tomorrow, Sept. 25, marks the first in the local scene: The concert of blues guitar legend Joe Bonamassa that will go onstage for a special, one-night-only concert at One Esplanade, Mall of Asia Complex at 8 p.m.

Titled An Evening with Joe Bonamassa, The Guitar Event of the Year, the concert is presented by The Roadhouse Manila Bay and Tiger Beer and is supported by Manila Times, Business Mirror, Jack TV, 2nd Avenue, RJ 100, RJ TV, RX 93.1 and Easy Rock 96.3.

The UK-based blues rock legend is one of the world’s greatest guitar players and has bagged major awards and citations, including Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award at the UK’s prestigious Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards and Best Blues Guitarist in Guitar Player Magazine’s 2009 Readers’ Choice Awards for the third consecutive year.

It will be Joe’s first time to perform in Manila. He will treat his fans to some of the finest guitar and blues music of this generation, including cuts from his recent album, Black Rock. The album adds an enlivening dose of world vibes to Joe’s virtuoso mix of ‘60s-era British blues-rock and roots-influenced Delta sounds. Joe’s hit songs are Driving Towards The Daylight, Stones In My Passway, A New Day Yesterday, You and Me, Sloe Gin, Miss You, Hate You, Cradle Rock and Pain and Sorrow.

Tickets are available at SM Tickets (with tel. no. 470-2222) and priced at P4,000 (VIP) and P2,500 (Regular).
