Skechers Streetdance Battle 8 today

MANILA, Philippines - Street-dancers are getting ready to bust their swagger moves at the much-awaited street-dance competition, the Skechers Streetdance Battle. Celebrating its eighth year, the Skechers Streetdance Battle 8 is the ultimate dance showdown by the country’s top high schools and colleges to earn bragging rights as the country’s supreme dance crew.

Skechers Streetdance Battle 8, the biggest, toughest and hottest dance competition in street-dance history, jumpstarts the thrilling street-dance season with its kick-off party and first elimination battle today at SM Mall of Asia.

Watch out for the elimination legs at SM City Fairview on Sept. 29 and 30, and at SM City San Lazaro on Oct. 7 and 13. The best dance crews from the elimination rounds will then move up to the finals on Nov. 17 at SM MOA Arena where the battle comes to a fever pitch in a grand showdown in front of 16,000 avid street-dance followers. Aside from being hailed as the supreme dance crew, the winning high school and college dance crews will take home P100,000 cash each. 

This year, Skechers is giving first dibs on tickets for the event. Simply purchase any regular-priced Skechers footwear and/or Skechers Time watches in selected SM Department stores or Skechers stores to be able to buy two Skechers Streetdance Battle 8 Final Battle tickets. Promo runs until Oct. 15.

Participating SM Department Stores are SM City Fairview, SM Makati, SM Mall of Asia, SM Manila, SM Marikina, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Pampanga, SM City San Lazaro and SM Southmall branches; and Skechers stores in SM Fairview, Trinoma, Glorietta 5, Market!
