UE alumni homecoming set Sept. 29

MANILA, Philippines – University of the East (UE) alumni will celebrate the 2012 grand homecoming with the theme “The Brave-Hearted Warriors” which is scheduled on Sept. 29, from 5 p.m. onwards, at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the newly built Dr. Lucio C. Tan Building, UE Caloocan, 105 Samson Road, Caloocan City.

The UE alumni gathering calls for a celebration for the UE graduates of the Graduate School, and Colleges of Law, Dentistry, Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Computer Studies and Systems, Education, Engineering and Fine Arts. It marks the jubilee years for the respective UE graduates in 1952 (Diamond), 1957 (Emerald), 1962 (Gold), 1967 (Sapphire), 1972 (Ruby), 1977 (Coral), 1982 (Pearl), and 1987 (Silver), who comprised this year’s UE alumni jubilarian-awardees. “We are inviting all alumni from the UE Manila and Caloocan, and the UERMMMCI, along with their family members and friends, to attend this momentous and fun-filled event of the UE family,” said UE Alumni Association, Inc. (UEAAI) Homecoming 2012 over-all chairperson/UE Fine Arts Alumni president Edgar Arcilla. The occasion is also part of the seven-day long festivities for the 66th UE foundation anniversary on Sept. 23 to 29.
