Penshoppe endorser Zac coming in Sept.

MANILA, Philippines - Last May when Funfare did a one-on-one with him in L.A. after his pictorial for Penshoppe as an A-list endorser, Zac Efron (photo) said that he looked forward to visiting the Philippines.

“I’ve heard so many good things about your country from my friends,” he added, in the same breath asking what places he should include in his itinerary.

The good news is that, yes, it’s official: Zac is coming to Manila in September as the brand’s lead star for the annual Penshoppe Fan Conference 2012.

“Team Penshoppe is very thankful to Zac for accepting our invitation to visit and meet his fans in the Philippines. Penshoppe FanCon 2012 Starring Zac Efron will be our biggest event to date as we continue to bring Penshoppe to new levels,” says brand director Alex Mendoza.

Just in time to welcome the holiday fashion season, Penshoppe FanCon 2012 organizers have confirmed that the highly- anticipated event will take place on Sept. 29, Saturday, 7 p.m. at the Mall Of Asia Arena. Tickets are free for every single-receipt purchase made at Penshoppe and exchanged for SM tickets from Sept. 1 to 23.

Promotional period will start on Sept. 1 in the following Penshoppe stores: SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North Edsa (Main and Annex), SM Fairview, SM Pampanga, SM Baguio, SM Naga, SM Cebu, SM Iloilo, SM Bacolod and SM Davao.

For every single receipt purchase worth P800 (general admission), P1,200 (Upper Box), P2,500 (lower box), P3,500 (Patron) up to P5,000 (VIP front seats), customers must request for a temporary FanCon pass made valid once signed by the store manager. Customer must then present the temporary pass to any SM Tickets (www.smtickets.com) branch nationwide in exchange for the actual FanCon ticket.

For VIP tickets, the customer will have to make seat reservations with the SM ticketing branch. The seat reservation for the FanCon is on a first-come-first-served basis.

All ticket categories except VIP are free seating. Any pass not claimed within the redemption period will be forfeited in favor of Penshoppe, with the approval of DTI. Passes are transferable but are not for sale and are not convertible to cash.
