MANILA, Philippines - Quest (photo) recently finished his second, full-length studio album Life Of A Champion. The album is a collection of 13 original tracks written by the hip-hop and R&B singer-songwriter himself, 10 of which are in English with three Tagalog songs.
The CD’s carrier single is Sige Lang and it was arranged by Quest in collaboration with Bo Jam of Flip Music. Quest says that he wrote Sige Lang with the intention of inspiring Filipinos.
For the past three weeks, Sige Lang has been climbing the charts of MYX Channel and Magic 89.9 on FM radio.
Its music video is directed by Nolan Bernardino and is currently on the No. 4 slot of its Top Ten Daily Countdown, No. 6 on Pinoy MYX Countdown and No. 6 on MYX Hit Charts which combines the top OPM and international videos of each week. Sige Lang also already has 30,000 hits on YouTube. It also climbed to 19th spot of Magic 89.9’s Top 30 weekly countdown.
Chot Reyes selected Sige Lang as the “National Fight Song” of Gilas Pilipinas Basketball Team.
