Wind beneath Strike's wings

MANILA, Philippines - Friends recently hosted a surprise birthday lunch for Chaye Cabal-Revilla, wife of Bacoor (Cavite) Mayor Strike Revilla, at a function room of Imperial Palace Suites (IPS, Timog-Morato Rotunda, Quezon City). Chaye is described by friends as ‘the wind beneath (Strike’s) wings,’ opting to stay in the sidelines and not on the frontline (except during the campaign period), leaving the spotlight to Strike. Recently, Chaye took charge of the Bacoor Youth Summit where films about the dangers of teen pregnancy and drug addiction were shown to young residents for free. Among the invited speakers were Butch Jimenez (on leadership), Anthony Pangilinan (values formation), Rio de la Cruz (sports), Fatima Soriano (inspirational) and Dr. Thomas Montessa (safe sex).
