Team GMA wins in Mega's online poll

MANILA, Philippines - Team GMA made up of Kris Bernal, Alden Richards, Bela Padilla and Sarah Lahbati, who appear in Mega Magazine’s July issue, emerged victorious in the online poll created by the magazine that pitted their version of the cover with that of ABS-CBN.

The official tally from MegaStyle.ph showed that the team GMA cover garnered 405,007 votes.

It was a tight match but the Kapuso fans showed no signs of slowing down as they poured in their support for their idols that proved to be worth it in the end.

Along with the online votes came an overwhelming stream of positive comments for Kris, Alden, Bela and Sarah.

Billed as GMA’s “next big primetime leading man,” Alden is currently seen on GMA’s high-rating telebabad program One True Love as the love-struck Tisoy opposite Louise delos Reyes.

Meanwhile, Sarah, whose ticket to fame came when she won as Starstuck V’s Ultimate Female Survivor in 2010, shines bright as one of Richard Gutierrez’s love interest in the primetime show Makapiling Kang Muli proving that she is worthy of the title.

Kris already appeared in a number of successful afternoon and primetime shows, the last of which includes the Afternoon Prime drama Hiram na Puso. Her next show will feature her in an exciting love triangle with Aljur Abrenica and Rhian Ramos. 

Bela also just finished working on the soap Hiram na Puso before she embarks on her next project with GMA. Last year, she was awarded as Miss Friendship and Media’s Darling in the Asian Super Model Contest held in China.

GMA Artist Center organized a special meet and greet with their fans several weeks ago in Party Pilipinas that truly helped in the success of the Team GMA cover.
