MANILA, Philippines - While riding high on the success of her GMA 7 youth-oriented series, Together Forever, Julie Anne San Jose continues her hot streak after her recent music video has gone viral with thousands of views in just two days.
Julie Anne’s music video for I’ll Be There, an upcoming single from her self-titled album, is continuously gaining popularity after logging over 42,000 views within 48 hours. Fans and supporters are obviously thrilled and her music video, which premiered last July 8, has been receiving an incredible amount of attention and positive reviews. The music video is directed by Mark Reyes.
GMA Films president, lawyer Annette Gozon-Abrogar, couldn’t be any happier and prouder of Julie Anne’s rise to worldwide fame: “Julie Anne has once again proven her virality online. Her previous video on YouTube has so far garnered close to 15 million views and now we’re looking at thousands of views on her new music video, which was uploaded just the other night (July 10). She truly is a singing sensation not just on TV and but also on the worldwide stage offered by the Internet.”
Director Mark, on the other hand, believes that the 18-year-old Kapuso artist is the next big music sensation to dominate the album charts and airwaves, “Julie Anne is this generation’s multi-media artist to watch out for. She is not only a singer, but also a true musical prodigy. She is a promising songwriter-composer and a skilled instrumentalist on guitar, keyboard and even on drums. With her upcoming album and fast-rising music video Internet hit, I am sure that GMA has found its very own ‘angel of music.’”
Julie Anne’s screen partner Elmo Magalona also expressed his excitement over the success of her music video and immediately posted a message on his Twitter last week: “Great news to start the week.” Julie Anne and Elmo will topbill the teen romance movie Just One Summer which will be shown in nationwide theaters come August.
Meanwhile, Julie Anne is also seen in Party Pilipinas every Sunday noon.
