Jay Taruc visits Iloilo

MANILA, Philippines - After the successful kick-off of I-Witness Docufest Regional Tour in Cebu last Sunday, the GMA Network’s flagship documentary program I-Witness brings one of its award-winning hosts Jay Taruc (photo) to Iloilo today for the second leg.

Topnotch and world-class I-Witness documentaries by Taruc (Lapnos and Batang Kalabaw), Howie Severino (Saplot and Huling Hala Bira), Kara David (Gintong Putik and Ambulansyang de Paa), and Sandra Aguinaldo (Batch 2012 and Iskul Ko No. 1), will be screened at SM Iloilo Cinema 3 from 12 noon to 6 p.m.

An open forum and DVD signing with Taruc will follow after the free screening.

The Kapuso Network will also extend serbisyong totoo to the Ilonggos through a Kapuso Barangayan happening at Brgy. Concepcion City Proper from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

After Cebu and Iloilo, the I-Witness team is also set to tour and inspire more Kapuso in Davao (Aug. 11), Bicol (Sept. 15), Iligan (Sept. 27), Pangasinan (Oct. 6), and Bacolod (Oct. 12).
