TALKtv shows get Daytime Emmy nods
Manila, Philippines - Three TALKtv programs receive nominations to this year’s Emmy Awards. Spear-heading the list is TODAY with six nominations. TODAY has been nominated under the categories Outstanding Morning Program, Daytime Entertainment: New Approaches, Outstanding Directing in a Talk Show/Morning Program, Outstanding Achievement in Live and Direct-to-Tape Sound Mixing, and Outstanding Achievement in Main Title and Graphic Design.
The Talk garnered three nominations including Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment. The ladies of The Talk also get rewarded for looking sharp day in and day out as they were nominated under the categories Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling and Outstanding Achievement in Makeup.
Anderson also received two nominations. The talk show got a nomination for Outstanding Talk Show under the Informative Category. Host Anderson Cooper was also nominated for the Outstanding Talk Show Host Award. This is definitely a big achievement for Cooper whose talk show career is still on its infancy.
