'Agent Lagalag' in suspense-thriller

Agent Lagalag is, of course, Eddie Fernandez. The footloose detective is the role most identified with Eddie, whose colorful and controversial life was made into a movie with Rudy Fernandez in the title role.

Eddie plays a ‘non-Lagalag’ role in Habang Ako’y Nabubuhay (1966), opposite Helen Gamboa, a suspense-thriller about a search for a hidden wealth.

Eddie and Dulce Lucban are the parents of singer-actress-entrepreneur Pops Fernandez, erstwhile Concert Queen. — RKC
