Singing her way to the big screen

The Philippine Star

Manila, Philippines - From the pop star kid that we once all knew, Julie Anne San Jose has really gone way far with her career. From teleserye theme songs to chart-topping hits, Julie Anne recently conquered the Hard Rock Café stage in celebration of her 18th birthday.

But Julie’s success doesn’t end there. Her strong fan base with love teammate Elmo Magalona has resulted to a movie titled Just One Summer which will soon be shown.

In the last Guillermo Awards, Julielmo was named The Most Promising Love Team. She also won the Most Promising Female Singer/Performer at the said awarding. For the record, Elmo also won the Most Promising Male Singer/Performer.

Julie Anne’s fans have been supportive of her career. Her team-up with Elmo is always a trending topic in several social networking sites.

Julie Anne will also be featured as a celebrity VJ on MYX. Myxph.com describes how Julie Anne, a talent of GMA Artist Center, made everyone upbeat during the Celebrity VJ shoots: “She breezed through the shows and added a little something extra for everyone. She sings, dances and raps.”

The talented young star has shown the public all the talents she got. She can play a number of musical instruments and belt ballads like a pro. Her wide vocal range and likable presence can be witnessed on GMA 7’s Sunday show Party Pilipinas and she is seen in Tween Hearts.

With that talent, attitude and charisma, who knows where the young musical prodigy will take us next?
