The 16 'most likely' bets in the 2012 Miss Philippines-Earth

MANILA, Philippines - Forty-seven beauties are competing in the 2012 Miss Philippines-Earth contest with grand finals set for Sunday, May 27, at the Mall Of Asia (MOA) Center, to be telecast by ABS-CBN Channel 2.

The candidates joined intense pre-pageant activities and preliminary challenges for more than two months.

Lorraine Schuck, vice president of Carousel Production which is behind the contest, said, ‘We want to bring the pageant’s advocacy to a higher level by addressing yet another pressing environmental issue.’

The contest revolves around the protection and preservation of the environment.
