Julie Anne set for 18th B-day concert

MANILA, Philippines - From the pop star kid that we once all knew, Julie Anne San Jose (photo) has really gone far. From teleserye theme songs to chart-topping hits, the musical prodigy now conquers the concert stage at Hard Rock Café tonight at 7 in celebration of her 18th birthday.

But Julie’s success doesn’t end there. Her strong fan base with constant love team Elmo Magalona resulted to a movie titled Just One Summer which will soon be showing.

In the last Guillermo Awards, “Julielmo” was even named The Most Promising Love Team. She also won the Most Promising Female Singer/Performer. Elmo likewise won the Most Promising Male Singer/Performer.

She will also be featured as a celebrity VJ on music channel MYX. Myxph.com described how Julie Anne, a talent of GMA Artist Center, made everyone upbeat during the Celebrity VJ shoots: “She breezed through the shows and added a little something extra for everyone. She sings, dances and raps.”

The talented young star has shown the public her versatility. She can play numerous musical instruments and belt ballads effortlessly like a pro. Her wide vocal range can be witnessed on GMA 7’s Sunday show Party Pilipinas. She is currently seen in the youth-oriented show Tween Hearts.
