Alma running for Senator

MANILA, Philippines - Confirmed: Parañaque City Councilor Alma Moreno is definitely running for Senator in the 2013 mid-term elections under Sen. Bong Revilla’s Bagong LAKAS-CMD party which was launched recently.

Politics is not alien territory to Alma who is the current Secretary General of the national Liga ng Mga Konsehal, a position that has been bringing her to every nook and cranny of the country. She’s on her last term as councilor of Parañaque City where her ex-husband Joey Marquez served as mayor.

She’s the newest addition to the growing list of stars running next year.

Alma’s senatorial bid was formally announced by Sen. Bong during the party launch.
