MANILA, Philippines - Family bonding is top priority for legendary cager and team manager Alvin Patrimonio. “As a social unit, families need more opportunities to work together,” explains Alvin. “Playing sports together has helped us bond. It’s great when children feel that truly, we are on the same team.”
Alvin’s daughters Christine and Clarice are also making their mark in sports. Both have competed in international tennis bouts. Clarice currently holds the top spot in national rankings and was part of the Philippine team in the recent South East Asian (SEA) Games.
The Patrimonios’ athleticism and close ties were their aces when they signed an endorsement deal with the country’s leading property developer, New San Jose Builders Inc. (NSJBI). Manny Estrella, sales head of NSJBI’s residential developments Victoria de Manila 1 and 2, states that the Patrimonios embody the company’s dream for contemporary Filipino families.
Victoria de Manila 2 is its latest addition to its host of residential condominiums equipped with a two-hectare indoor sports complex. Located at Taft Ave., Manila, the development features six-lane bowling facilities, Olympic-length swimming pools, fully-equipped and professionally-manned gyms, tennis, badminton and basketball courts, billiard halls, open activity centers and a members-only spa.
“We are pushing for wellness and close family ties. Helping Filipinos embrace an active lifestyle is an integral part of NSJBI’s vision,” explains Manny. “Our string of family and sports centered residential projects is a step towards that vision.”
