Fun & fashion in Nivea's summer party

MANILA, Philippines - It was an evening of fun, fashion and entertainment as some of the country’s hippest and most stylish personalities partied the night away at Skye in Fort Bonifacio for the launch of Summer’s More Fun with Nivea Sun.

Phoemela Baranda, Paula Taylor and Karen Pamintuan were some of the most glamorous celebrities who welcomed summer’s first major event.

The highly-successful affair treated guests to a fun, laid-back vibe filled with great food, awesome music and fabulous Nivea Sun giveaways.

A highlight of the evening was a fashion show featuring sexy summer wear by designer Charina Sarte. Dubbed the Nivea Sun Collection, each exquisite and functional piece exuded a fun, carefree and sexy summer feel — perfect for any summer activity.

Moreover, the event saw the announcement of a partnership between the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Nivea Sun. Titled Nivea Sun’s 7 Summer Wonders, the online promo enjoins everyone to vote for their Top 7 local summer wonders in the Philippines, consequently helping to promote local tourism. Winners will get to enjoy an all-expense paid trip for two to the destination that topped the list.
