ALV Talent Circuit presents its fresh faces for 2012
MANILA, Philippines - Aside from its roster of established artists, ALV Talent Circuit ushers in the New Year with its young crop of budding talents, who are all set to make their mark in the local entertainment industry.
Heading the pack is Grace Lee, one of GMA 7’s regular segment anchors for its Balitanghali and 24 Oras Weekend. She is also a radio jock, a regular columnist for Manila Bulletin’s entertainment section and an established corporate/events host.
Despite being known as Kuh Ledesma’s daughter, Isabella Gonzalez is slowly establishing her own artistic identity. Well-versed in pop and R&B styles, her musical maturity and impressive range enable her to shine best as a jazz singer. She recently released her solo album, Identity.
Twenty-three-year old Vincent Bueno is the Vienna, Austria-based musical prodigy who won the Austrian musical reality show Musical! Die Show in 2008. The multi-talented composer, who is also a regular performer on ABS-CBN’s ASAP XV, recently released his debut album under Star Records, which spawned the hit, Party Hard. He just came back from Europe where he starred in Musical Rocks, together with other European singers.
Twin brothers David and Anthony Semerad are dubbed as the hottest and sexiest twins in the local sporting and modeling circuits. The half-Czech, half-Filipino athletes hail from Brisbane, Australia, and are the newest addition to the Ateneo Blue Eagles team. The 19-year olds are also Bench endorsers.
Jerico Redrico is one of the contestants in the ongoing ABS-CBN reality show, Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited. Born and raised in San Francisco, California, the 23-year-old Fil-Am started out as a commercial model.
Sheila Valderrama-Martinez is a prolific stage and theater actress who has appeared in recent productions such as Sweet Charity and The Wedding Singer. She was also part of the world tour for the Disney production of Cinderella.
Kevin Cisco is one of Channel V’s resident VJs. Born and raised in Concorde, California, the 20-year-old half-Filipino, half-Italian hunk is a GMA-7 contract artist and is a regular in Party Pilipinas. He is currently working on his debut album under GMA Records.
Sixteen-year-old Isabel de Leon, popularly known as Duday, was only six years old when she became part of the cast of Vic Sotto’s long-running sitcom, Daddy Di Do Du. She won her first FAMAS Best Child Actress award for her portrayal in Magnifico in 2003. Lately, she’s been harnessing her musical talent as a solo acoustic performer.
Kiko Estrada is the son of Gary Estrada and Cheska Diaz. The 18-year-old Political Science major and varsity player from La Salle, Benilde appears on GMA-7’s Twin Hearts, and is being groomed as one of the network’s latest contract artists and potential lead actors.
Adrian Joseph “AJ” Tabaldo was one of the semi-finalists in American Idol’ Season 6. The 26-year old Fil-Portuguese R&B singer hails from Santa Maria, California. His guest appearances in major concerts and corporate events have earned the nod of discerning critics.
Kelsey Adams was only 14 when she impressed two international songwriters who wrote and produced her debut album, Definition of Cool. A proud Cebuana, Kelsey first gained local attention when she won first runner-up and Texter’s Choice Award on ABS-CBN’s Little Big Star-Cebu a few years back. She’s one of the youngest contract artists signed up by PolyEast Records.
Bernie Ann is dubbed as the Fil-Am Concert Princess in Los Angeles. She came to the Philippines to promote her album with AJ, Still I Miss You. Three songs from the album were produced by Disney Records.
