Sponge Cola's Stargazer out

MANILA, Philippines - After a very fruitful and successful 2011, which include numerous shows both here and abroad, two No. 1 singles, and scoring the elusive Diamond Record award, Sponge Cola (photo) opens the year with the release of its newest single Stargazer from its fourth full-length studio album Araw Oras Tagpuan under Universal Records.  

“I’m just excited to make more music, it’s been like that since Day One which I guess is a good thing,” says the band’s lead singer Yael Yuzon. And fans are sure to agree proven by how Sponge Cola churned out hit songs decorating its impressive body of work which includes Tambay, Regal and Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay. 

When asked to describe the new single, Yael explains: “It’s loud and intense, yet sentimental at the same time. It’s one of those songs that are just bursting of emotion and passion that you can’t help but just make it...loud.”  

Stargazer is currently airing on Manila’s hottest radio stations, and its video recently premiered on MYX.
