SPED seminars on sign language

MANILA, Philippines - Patricia Muñoz, a fully credentialed special education teacher in California, will conduct the following seminars: Preparing an Effective Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a Vital Tool in the SPED Program on Jan. 22; How to Cope When Your Child or Student is Special, Jan. 29; Implementing an Effective Inclusion Program for Children with Special Needs, Feb. 5; Utilizing Instructional & Curricular Modifications for Special Needs Students in an Inclusion Program, Feb. 12; and Utilizing Effective Strategies to Serve the Needs of Special Children, Feb. 19.

Basic Sign Language Class will be conducted on Jan. 21 and Feb. 4. All seminars and classes will be held at #98 Matatag, Bgy. Central, Quezon City, phone numbers 0916-4280737 and 434-6064. Sunday seminar hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Basic Sign Language from10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., respectively. Weekday classes on the above modules may be conducted as per arrangement.
