Razorback launches anniversary album

MANILA, Philippines - Razorback recently launched its latest album at the Music Museum.

Marking the band’s 21st anniversary, the album launch was turned into one earth-shaking rock concert. The grand hall was filled with two generations of Razorback fans who banged their heads to the band’s signature sound.

Formed in 1990, the four-piece hard-rock band had several member changes and got its perfect tune with guitarist Tirso Ripoll, vocalist Kevin Roy, bassist Louie Talan and drummer Brian Velasco.

Razorback’s fifth album titled Three Minutes of Glory is a fusion of 12 different rock genres. Taking almost three years to perfect, the new album was a result of the members’ collaborative effort to remain faithful to their rock and roll genre while experimenting on some songs during the process.

Roy took full lyrical control and pieced the songs together by creating a dialogue story. The 12 tracks narrate the story of a man waking up from a coma and seeing that the world has changed. Listen to the album to find out how his story ends.

Now, the band is set to heavily promote the album nationwide through a series of shows. Its goal is to conquer the international rock music scene geared with the band’s latest music compilation.

Razorback also recently signed up as official endorsers of Red Horse Beer.

The Razorback album launch-concert was sponsored by Red Horse Beer, which added astig flavor to the event.
