MANILA, Philippines - The University of the East (UE) will conclude its 2011 Christmas celebration, dubbed MaLualhating Pasko sa Silangan, with a Christmas extravaganza tomorrow at the UE Manila Dalupan ground floor lobby and quadrangle.
The culminating festivity brings together the entire academic and administrative officers and personnel from the UE Manila and Caloocan campuses in an afternoon of entertainment and delight. Personnel from the different UE units will perform in a group dance contest.
Cash and other fabulous prizes await the winners of a raffle, while a Christmas toast and the announcement of winners in the office decor contest, including the performances of the UE Silanganan Dance Troupe, UE Chorale and UE Band are expected to spice up the celebration.
This year’s UE annual Christmas celebration, which kicked off last Nov. 28, included thanksgiving Masses, a lantern parade and competition, lighting of the Christmas trees, Pamaskong Handog in both Manila and Caloocan campuses, the NSTP Christmas party with abandoned children of Bulacan and UE Caloocan Christmas program.
