Marriage Ref 2 premieres on AXN Beyond

MANILA, Philippines - Real-life married couples take center stage as their quirky, funny and relatable disputes are explored, examined and judged as AXN Beyond brings to the Philippines the second season of Marriage Ref tonight at 8:10. In the funny and revealing comedy panel series, couples will appear in studio and face a panel of experts composed of top celebrities and comedians who will weigh in and decide which spouse is right. The goal is to give couples something they have always wanted but never had a clear winner.

At the end of each episode, the studio audience will vote to make one of the winners The Rightest. The winners will receive $25,000 and their very own billboards in their hometowns, declaring they are right.

The disputes on Marriage Ref Season 2 come in many different forms. The season premiere features the panelists voting on a husband’s obsession with pumpkins, a wife’s mother who might have overstayed her welcome, and a husband’s embarrassing betting habit.

Comedian Tom Papa (The New Adventures of Old Christine, The Informant) is back in the center of the action where he serves as the host and the ref (referee). Celebrity panelists gracing the season include Denise Richards, Rachel Ray, Mary J. Blige, Seth Meyers, will.i.am, Ricky Gervais, Julianne Moore and Jerry Seinfeld.
