Lovi, Solenn & Carla show skin in YTT

MANILA, Philippines - Regal Entertainment brings Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff and Carla Abellana together in its Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow (YTT).

Lovi, Solenn and Carla rose to fame on the strength of not just their pretty faces, but also their charisma and acting mettle.

Showbizlandia has found its latest sensation in Solenn, who has no qualms in displaying her sexy figure. She first made a mark in the industry as a castaway on GMA 7’s Survivor Philippines Celebrity Edition.

Her participation in the show resulted to a movie contract with Regal’s Lily Monteverde and Roselle Monteverde-Teo who introduced Solenn to the viewing public via My Valentine Girls opposite Richard Gutierrez.

Her big screen debut was followed by an appearance in the successful remake of Temptation Island. Shortly after, Solenn tried her hand at singing for which she won in this year’s Aliw Awards Discovery of the Year category.

Solenn’s popularity soared even higher when she agreed to endorse Ginebra San Miguel’s 2012 calendar. To date, her calendar and her debut album are selling like hotcakes.

The statuesque beauty and former model says she’s more comfortable showing off her svelte form. That’s why director Jun Lana found no difficulty in convincing Solenn in doing sexy beach and lovemaking scenes with Dennis Trillo in YTT.

“I like my body, so, bakit naman ako aarte pa? Besides, I like my role here. So there’s nothing to be ashamed of. Magugulat na lang ang lahat sa gagawin ko sa movie, hahaha!” says Solenn, who plays Maricel Soriano’s half-sister in the film.

Carla, on the other hand, plays a strong–willed woman engaged to Gabby Concepcion.

After fanning male moviegoers’ fantasies in her first daring movie, My Neighbor’s Wife, Carla pits acting talent with Maricel in the movie.

Many say the screen neophyte managed to hold her own against the award-winning actress in their confrontation and dramatic scenes.

Carla has proven her acting potential when she received a citation for her performance in the Punerarya episode of last year’s Shake, Rattle & Roll 12.

Lovi may be considered as the most experienced given her versatility in portraying characters.

The public loved her in My Neighbor’s Wife. She has also shown her bankability in Aswang.

In YTT, Lovi shines in her dramatic scenes with real-life crush Jericho Rosales.

As Lovi essays a noticeably more wholesome role in YTT, she believes baring and daring before the cameras isn’t the only way to show her appeal.

Lovi, Solenn and Carla will rock the big screen come Christmastime. So, better watch out for them.
