UE holds filmfest

MANILA, Philippines - The University of the East (UE), through the UE Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA), will hold a film festival on Nov. 21 to 26 at the UE Theater.

This year’s UE film festival, with the theme Values Reborn, screens the following inspiring movies that depict values in real life, hope and redemption: Sarah’s Choice, Nov. 21, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; More Than Dreams, Nov. 22 and 26, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Letters to God, Nov. 23, 10 a.m. and Nov. 26, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Maynila, Nov. 23, 2 p.m.

“The films are more than just feasts for the eyes and these are awakening and thought-provoking mediums because of the films’ messages that point to strengthening values, spirituality and harmony,” said OCA director Generoso Caringal. The event is a free admission on a first-come first-served basis.
