Kris, Denise are Teatrino Fridays features Nov. 18

MANILA, Philippines - Friendship and love is the theme of this Friday’s special show at the Teatrino featuring Kris Lawrence (left) and Denise Laurel (right). The two friends had a major hit last year with their version of Christopher Cross’ I Will Take You Forever. The song reached No. 1 in several local radio countdowns and was the theme song of the Koreanovela, Shining Inheritance. It is a favorite on the request line and has had over a   million hits on YouTube. So, it’s but natural that Kris and Denise follow it up with a very intimate show tomorrow, Nov. 18.

Kris was the grand winner of ABS-CBN’s Search for A Star In A Million Season 2 but is now a mainstay of GMA 7’s Party Pilipinas. He has two albums under his belt, Kris Lawrence under Star Records which hit Platinum with the single, Kung Malaya Lang Ako, and Moments of Love under MCA Music which features the hits Careless Whisper, Just Tell Me You Love Me and I Will Take You Forever.

Denise is from the political-showbiz Laurel clan. She starred on ABS–CBN’s Precious Hearts: Kristine, and is set to appear in Padre de Pamilya. Denise has also inherited her family’s gift of music. She is also a formidable singer and is in the process of recording songs for her forthcoming album.

Teatrino Nights on Friday presents the two stars’ three-set show featuring classic as well as contemporary hits from R&B and Motown superstars, such as the Supremes, Ne-Yo, Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson; as well as originals from Kris who will also set debut to introduce his latest single, Di Na Matatanggap.
