Comedy, country & class in Tonight Show

MANILA, Philippines - Adam Sandler, Jonah Hill, Chelsea Handler and John Cho with Kal Penn bring the funnies to Tonight Show with Jay Leno this week while musical guests mix classical and country as Chris Isaak plays sweet music and Yo-Yo Ma gets his friends to take the stage for an evening of culture and melody.

Superbad star Jonah drops by today for the Fox animated comedy Allen Gregory that is set to debut on Oct. 30 while celebrity chef and TV host Paula Deen makes a special guest appearance for her new book, Southern Cooking Bible. Also, Chris Isaak performs from his new album Beyond The Sun, a tribute to the legends who inspired his retro sound.

Tomorrow, Oct. 26 has Red Riding Hood actress Amanda Seyfried discussing the plot of her new forthcoming sci-fi thriller In Time, which hit theaters Oct. 28 as Harold & Kumar stars Kal Penn and John Cho promise “enhanced nudity” in their upcoming 3D Christmas flick. Then, cellist Yo-Yo Ma brings a group of friends to bring real music to the masses with this superb number.

Chelsea Handler takes her comedic skills to the big screen on Oct. 28 as Victoria Justice’s mom in Paramount Pictures’ teen comedy Fun Size while comic Chris D’Elia joins us to discuss growing up in the valley, auditioning for commercials and landing a hit sitcom. And formerly known as The Time, they now call themselves The Original 7ven with its first single Trending from the album Condensate.

Adam is back on Oct. 29 and he isn’t afraid to get in touch with his feminine side for his latest film Jack & Jill. Plus, Drew Manning tells of six months getting fat then losing it in the next six months to teach others how to lose weight through diet and exercise. Also, American indie rock band Awolnation performs its newest song, Joke from the latest album Megalithic Symphony.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno airs Tuesdays to Saturdays, 1 to 2 p.m. via Satellite with replays at 11 p.m. on TALKtv Ch. 16 on SkyCable, Ch. 28 on Destiny and Ch. 21 on VHF.
