MANILA, Philippines - The first-anniversary presentation of TV5’s Wil Time, Bigtime at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last Saturday, Oct. 22, was a winner not only in the turnout of supporters (many of them coming from nearby provinces) but also in the ratings game. It got 13.4 amr, 44.7 audience share.

Among those who present were kids suffering from leukemia and bone cancer (top photo) invited by host Willie Revillame through the Make A Wish and Kythe Foundation. Willie had the kids fetched from the UST Hospital, National Orthopedic Center, AFP Medical Center and National Children’s Hospital. Willie sang Munting Hiling to them at the finale of the show that lasted for almost seven hours (from 4 p.m. to way past 10 p.m.).

Surprise of the affair was co-host Shalani Soledad’s (right photo, second from right) widely-applauded ‘daring’ dance number. Her boyfriend, Pasig Rep. Roman Romulo, was in the audience.

Willie’s other co-hosts (also photo at right) Mariel Rodriguez, Sugar Mercado and Baby Bisaya also rendered their own production numbers.

Among the guests were Aga Muhlach (bottom left), Andrew E., Juan dela Cruz Band, Kitchie Nadal and Barbie Almalbis.

TV5 bigwigs led by Manny V. Pangilinan (below right, with Viva Boss Vic del Rosario Jr.) were present, also including executives (bottom right) Bobby Barreiro (executive VP & COO) and Ray Espinosa (president and CEO).

As promised, Willie gave away ‘bigtime’ prizes including two fully-furnished Camella Home units donated by Sen. Manny Villar (below left), five Foton vans, and 10 P50,000 each (five from the audience and text players).

Also raffled off were five P100,000 cash and two P500,000 to lucky viewers.
