Sandra Aguinaldo's award-winning docu airs tonight

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The 2011 Catholic Mass Media Award for Best Adult Educational Program went this year to Sandra Aguinaldo’s (photo) I-Witness documentary Pasan-Pasan.

“This inspires us to continue producing worthwhile documentaries for I-Witness,” she said at the awarding ceremony last Wednesday night.

GMA News TV replays the docu tonight at 9:55 for viewers who missed it the first time.

Pablito is 18 years old. But he cannot walk, eat, or bathe alone. His bones are brittle; so brittle in fact, that one wrong move can cause them to break. He has had fractures all over his body.

But whatever pain his broken bones may bring is soothed by the loyalty of his No. 1 champion — his brother Jason. Every day, Jason lifts Pablito on his back to take him to school. Pablito and Jason are some of the subjects in the moving documentary about commitment and no surrender.
