Super Junior & 2NE1 fans invade Gateway

MANILA, Philippines - Sept. 18 was a landmark date for all ELFs and Blackjacks as Pulp Magazine launched its much-awaited Pulp Magazine the Special Kpop Edition at the Gateway Cineplex Lobby.

ELFs (Everlasting Friends of Super Junior) and Blackjacks went straightaway to Gateway Cineplex as early as the mall opened its doors to be the first to grab the Pulp Special K-pop Edition. 

The magazine contains exclusive stories, testimonies from lucky volunteers and photos from the biggest K-pop events that hit Manila this year — Super Show 3: Super Junior the 3rd Asia Tour and The Party: 2NE1 Live in Manila. Fans were ecstatic. In less than two hours the special PULP issue was sold out. The publishers rushed a second delivery which was again sold out in less than an hour.

The event also marked the start of promotions for the upcoming Super Junior Super Show 3 in 3D to be shown in selected cinemas nationwide. ELFs lined up as well for the precious tickets selecting their preferred screening times and dates and many purchased multiple screenings. 

ELFs have been waiting for the silver screen bonanza to hit our shores, as it has been shown in other countries such as Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore.

With Smart’s unwavering support for the event, the fans that were able to experience Super Show 3: Super Junior the 3rd Asia Tour  in Manila last February can relive the experience again through 3D technology. Fans who were not able to go will also experience the magic that Super Junior Super Show brings and see what ELFs have been raving about and looking forward to year after year.

To keep fans entertained, SJ United Philippines hosted the program and gave away Super Junior and 2NE1 CDs, Super Junior Super Show 3: 3D tickets and other limited edition Kpop merchandise.

To add more excitement to the event, premier cover groups X-Crew, 24 Minute Kpop and ELFinity gave superb performances that made all ELFs and Blackjacks scream and chant along making it seem like the actual Super Junior and 2NE1 have graced the launch event. Everyone went home a whole lot happier and excited for the upcoming screening.
