Lance, Mercedes lead Bellhaus' roster of talents
MANILA, Philippines - Bellhaus Entertainment’s artist management arm has launched the We Come, We Conquer 2011 campaign, bannered by talents Lance Raymundo and Mercedes Cabral.
After recently signing up with Bellhaus, Lance is launching an all-new album titled Wolf Sound, also co-produced by Bellhaus. Lance is also scheduled to appear in film assignments, starting with a cameo appearance in the Cinema One Originals entry Six Degrees of Separation with Lilia Cuntapay. His leading performance in the 2009 OFW indie-drama Fidel will have special screenings in schools and provincial venues soon this year.
On the other hand, Mercedes’ star continues to shine. Hailed as indie royalty, Mercedes has starred in countless, not to mention award-winning, indie film projects. Currently she’s finishing Ralston Jover’s The Dog Show and the Cinema One Originals entry, Di Ingon Na ‘To. She will also play an important role in the upcoming ABS-CBN fantasy series Hiyas with Zanjoe Marudo and Megan Young. Just recently, her memorable performance as a pastor’s abused lover in Maalaala Mo Kaya became one of the program’s highest-rated episodes of late.
Among the artists and performers in Bellhaus’ roster are TV host Gee Canlas; Pretty Young Thing (PYT) which has been enjoying brisk record sales for its latest album Caught In The Act; Rox Puno, son of veteran balladeer Rico J. Puno; Bea Tantoco (of the Rustan’s business empire); and the all-male singing group Aftershock. The list also includes singer Janjay, comedians Jhai’Ho and Kamote Club, as well as the Elite Dance Crew and the band Squeezers.
Bellhaus is a media entertainment enterprise named in honor of the late Bella Tan, who co-founded one of the country’s most successful recording companies, Universal Records. Her husband Jack Tan serves as Bellhaus’ chairman, with daughter Jaclyn and son Jeffrey — an accomplished film/TV/music video director — as COO and CEO, respectively. Bellhause is managed by Mark Shandii Bacolod, a film writer and director.
