TV5 partners with Regal Multimedia

MANILA, Philippines - TV5 and Regal Multimedia, Inc. (RMMI) recently inked a deal signifying their partnership for TV and movie projects, including a new version of Regal’s hit TV show Regal Shocker.

For movies, RMMI and TV5’s movie arm, Studio 5, will co-produce six movies, starting with the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Hototay. There is an output deal with RMMI for the airing of its movies on TV5. The Kapatid network has also licensed from RMMI the story rights for some of Regal’s hit movies that will be turned into TV series.
