Star Circle reunion

MANILA, Philippines - Inspired by the Balik-Samahan, the group organized by Pempe Rodrigo and showbiz friends and that meet for dinner every now and then, Bing Confiado Manalo thought of doing the same for Star Circle members for whom he served as workshop supervisor.

The first reunion was held a few days ago at Villa Estela, Quezon City. Among those present were Kaye Abad (from Star Circle 3); Marc Solis (Star Circle 5); Justin Cuyugan (Star Circle 6); and Star Circle 4 members Nikki Valdez, Gerard Pizarras, Miggy Tanchanco, Sarji Ruiz, Steven Alonzo, Lui Villaruz and Boom Labrusca.

No-shows due to work commitments were Leandro Muñoz, Jodi Sta. Maria, Rafael Rosell, Tanya Garcia, Baron Geisler, Kathleen Hermosa, Janet McBride, Desiree del Valle, Gemma Heaton, Cherry Lou, Carlos Agassi, Denise Joaquin, Andre Felix and many others.

“I’m sure they will come for our next reunion,” said the Star Circlers’ Kuya Bing. “I plan to organize them into as Circle of Stars Club.”
