La Roca Trinidad inspired a movie

La Roca Trinidad was the house Leopoldo Salcedo built for his wife Trinidad Salas, located atop a hill in a Quezon City village. In 1951, he produced a movie inspired by his romance with Mrs. Salcedo, titled La Roca Trinidad.

Pol himself starred in the movie opposite Lydia Montanez. ‘The house that love built,’ the movie was billed.

In a career that spanned several decades, Pol produced 13 movies, some of which he directed, but each one he starred in. — RKC
