Proudly Green repeat set for July 31

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - La Salle is celebrating its 100th year in the country, counting from the time the Christian Brothers arrived here in 1911. And the university, which has grown to 17 campuses across the country, is reminding its alumni, faculty and students of its rich heritage through a one-hour musical play aptly billed Proudly Green which will be shown again on July 31 at the St. Benilde Gym in La Salle Greenhills. It is directed by Fritz Ynfante and topbilled by seasoned theater artists like Isay Alvarez, Robert Seña and Rannie Raymundo.

The three-act musical was organized and created by the grade school and highschool Taft chapter of the De La Salle Alumni Association. Photo shows alumni officers (seated from left) Manny Blanco, Bomboy Araneta, Oscar Lagman; (standing) César de Larrazábal, Boy Kalaw, Toto Acosta and Adie Pena. Tickets are at P300 for students and P600 for non-students and for reserved seats. For details, call Manny Blanco at 818-3021 and 819-3963.
